Myeong Do-ryeong, After Correctly Predicting Girls' Generation Sooyoung and Jung Kyung-ho's Breakup, Says a Reunion Is Possible

Shaman Myeong Do-ryeong, who drew attention after his past prediction about the breakup between Girls' Generation member Choi Soo-young and actor Jung Kyung-ho resurfaced, has now expressed confidence that the two could reunite.

On June 11, on the YouTube channel "Myeongkwaehan Myeong Do-ryeong," Myeong Do-ryeong predicted the possibility of a reconciliation between Girls' Generation's Choi Soo-young and actor Jung Kyung-ho.

Referring to the fact that a video in which he had previously predicted the couple's breakup had become a topic of discussion, Myeong Do-ryeong took a cautious tone. "I feel careful and worried about every word I say," he said. "As one shaman, I am someone who conveys the words of the spirits. Please look at this kindly as a form of information delivery."

Discussing what he saw as the reason for the breakup, he said, "From Soo-young, I sense emotions of wanting to hurry toward marriage. But from Jung Kyung-ho, I sense avoidance, careful thinking, and a great deal of worry. I think Jung Kyung-ho had a desire to lead the relationship with confidence when he reached his highest point. It seems he may have felt discouraged because he thought that kind of fortune was weak. Because of that, I don't think he was able to move actively toward marriage."

He also analyzed, "Only the people involved would know for sure, but there may also have been opposition from Jung Kyung-ho's family. If someone had actively supported him, comforted him, and helped him, they might have gotten through it without breaking up and could even have married. The energy and situation visible at the time were things that could have been handled well through conversation, but they were not handled well, and the breakup happened naturally."

Myeong Do-ryeong continued, "It did not seem like there was an atmosphere where someone was saying, 'Let's do this' or 'Let's do that.' Because they had dated for such a long time, I think both of them knew that if things continued as they were, they would naturally break up. They needed to overcome it through some kind of turning point, but they only prepared themselves emotionally and moved past it."

When asked about the possibility of reunion, he answered firmly, "There is one." He added with confidence, "It was a fortune in which, if a helpful person around them had taken care of them, they could have changed their minds and even gotten married. It has not been long since they broke up, and even though they separated, feelings of cherishing, loving, worrying about, and caring for each other remain between them. Those feelings can be sufficiently drawn back up, the situation can be reversed, and it can be led toward reconciliation. This much is possible."

He further said, "In fact, this breakup probably was not the first. The two are meant to repeat breaking up and getting back together. Jung Kyung-ho has many distracting thoughts and is stubborn. He thinks a lot and is always cautious. From Soo-young's position, that probably caused dissatisfaction. He is like a real older brother, kind, warm, and good in every way, but because there was nothing beyond that, no active lead from Jung Kyung-ho, she must have waited for that for a long time. They spent time only watching each other's reactions, loving each other, worrying, and being considerate. They waited for each other and ended it after growing exhausted."

Myeong Do-ryeong had previously given a blind fortune reading in December of last year, while Jung Kyung-ho and Choi Soo-young were still dating. At the time, he said, "Jung Kyung-ho and Choi Soo-young have decent compatibility, but I do not see the bond of a married couple.
