Song Ga-in Unveils Stunning Visual Transformation for New Hybrid Dance Track
Singer Song Ga-in reveals AI-concept photos for her upcoming hybrid dance single 'What If It's Not a Flower (Plantain)', blending Samba House with Trot.
Singer Song Ga-in released AI-concept photos for her new song 'What If It's Not a Flower (Plantain)' on her official SNS on the 26th. Through the vitality of nature and dreamy imagination, Song Ga-in conveyed the message of hope contained within the new track.

In the photos, she is seen smiling while holding a plantain amidst nature where wildflowers are in full bloom. She is also captured lost in thought while gazing at flowers or conveying a deep lingering emotion under the warm sunlight.
'What If It's Not a Flower (Plantain)' is a track where she attempts a significant musical transformation unlike her previous works. Accordingly, new attempts were made across all visual content. To maximize the fantasy visual beauty of the new song, AI-based creative techniques were introduced in the album artwork, concept photos, and music video.

As suggested by the subtitle 'Plantain,' the song is dedicated to ordinary people who endure the weight of life and silently live through each day, much like how a plantain takes root even in barren soil and blooms again even after being stepped on. It is a hybrid dance genre that combines Samba House rhythms with Trot sensibility, based on a Brazilian Festival House sound.
The new song is the third installment of the 'Song Ga-in X Legend Project' and was completed through a collaboration with Korea's representative DJ and producer DJ CHULLY (Shin Chul). Following Sim Soo Bong's 'Tears Fall' and Sul Woon-do's 'Love Mambo,' 'What If It's Not a Flower (Plantain)'—created with DJ CHULLY—creates a special synergy that connects tradition and modernity, as well as genres and generations, by meeting rhythmic producing with Song Ga-in's delicate sensibility. 'What If It's Not a Flower (Plantain)' will be released on various online music release platforms on July 2 at 6 PM.
