Kim Yong-im Recalls Park Seo-jin's 'Unrefined' Past Look, Unlike Im Yeong-ung
Singer Kim Yong-im shares memories of Park Seo-jin's early days on KBS 2TV's Mr. House Husband, noting his transformation from a rustic look to a polished star.
On the 13th, during the KBS 2TV entertainment program 'Mr. House Husband' Season 2, singer Park Seo-jin met his senior, Kim Yong-im.
Kim Yong-im visited Park Seo-jin's home and subsequently invited him to her 80-pyeong luxury mansion.
Recalling the past, she remarked, "We have known each other for about 12 years. To be honest, when he had those tight permed curls in the beginning, it was a bit unrefined, so I even worried, 'Will he really be able to succeed as a singer?'" Park Seo-jin responded that at that time, he was very satisfied because he had taken professional profile photos in Seoul.
Kim Yong-im noted that his appearance has become much more sophisticated, saying, "I worried a lot. Because viewers or people watching might feel a sense of repulsion. He has become much more polished compared to 12 years ago." Following this, the evolution of Park Seo-jin's face, which reached a 'completed' state through repeated tuning, was shared.
When Kim Yong-im mentioned Song Ga-in and Im Yeong-ung—who later became top stars after singing at her fan meeting—Park Seo-jin jokingly protested, "Why didn't you invite me?" His younger sister, Park Hyo-jung, delivered a blunt reality check, saying, "It's probably because she was too embarrassed to invite you since it was before your 'tuning' (transformation)."
