34-Year-Old Wife Married to Divorced Man 17 Years Her Senior Shares Concerns Over Second Child

On the 15th, during the KBS Joy entertainment program 'Ask Anything,' a 34-year-old wife married to a divorced man 17 years her senior shared her concerns regarding a second child.

A 51-year-old construction worker husband and a 34-year-old music and dance academy director wife appeared on the show. The wife, who is in her third year of marriage, expressed her dilemma, stating, "I have experienced a miscarriage with my first child, and my current child was born after only 7 months, requiring emergency surgery. I want to have a second child, but my husband, having witnessed the miscarriage and premature birth by his side, does not want another."

The husband stated, "I have been married once before and am divorced, and I have a child in the third year of middle school from my previous marriage."

Regarding their first meeting, the husband revealed, "After moving, I had no friends and was bored, so I restarted drumming, which I had done for a long time, as a hobby. I met my wife at the place where I went to learn music."

The wife explained the misunderstanding during their first date, saying, "I wasn't interested at first. He was just an older man in the hobby class. During the lesson, he kept talking about only what he wanted to say. I gave him time because the lesson couldn't be disrupted, but he misunderstood."

When Seo Jang Hoon asked, "What was the reason you fell in love?" the wife laughed and replied, "I fell in love because my husband is handsome." She also shared her personal standards, stating, "The fact that he was divorced and had a child was not an important issue to me."

The two married after dating for 6 years.
