46-Year-Old Yoo Min-sang Longs for Marriage as Shaman Says He Could Wed This Year or Next
Comedian Yoo Min-sang opens up on SBS Plus about wanting to marry, past dating, and a shaman’s prediction that marriage is close.
Comedian Yoo Min-sang, 46, speaks candidly about his hopes for marriage on the SBS Plus program "Sinbbal Talk Show: Gwimyohan Iyagi 2" on the 15th.

Yoo Min-sang appears as a guest alongside Lee Hong-gi, a member of the band FTIsland, and the two share a range of stories centered on the theme of enemies. When MC Lee Guk-joo asks Yoo, "Are you going to ask about getting married?" Yoo replies, "Of course I have to ask," making clear his curiosity about his marriage fortune. He then shows a lack of confidence, saying, "I was born in 1979. I turn 47 this year, and I am not really sure whether I can get married."
One shaman reassures Yoo Min-sang by saying, "You will get married. Relationship luck is coming in this year." The shaman then offers an analysis of why Yoo has remained unmarried, saying, "You are very shy around strangers and cannot properly look at someone you like. You need to approach decisively, but because you could not do that, the connection moved farther away." Yoo responds in agreement, saying, "That is right." Another shaman also says, "I can see you getting married within this year or next year."
Lee Guk-joo then asks Yoo Min-sang, "Are you not seeing anyone right now?" Yoo reveals that he had been in a relationship, saying, "This is the first time I am saying this here, but there was someone for a little while, and it did not work out."
As the fortune-telling about Yoo Min-sang's future spouse continues, one shaman says, "It is someone with a job in the announcer or reporter field." Lee Guk-joo asks, "Was the person things did not work out with also in a similar profession?" Yoo answers, "That is right. She really was in the announcer or reporter side. It is truly amazing that they can get things like this right."
The shaman goes on to say, "As a spouse, someone with a fairly strong energy suits you well. If the person's personality is too quiet, you may feel frustrated. You will definitely get married." Yoo Min-sang replies, "Still, it is a relief to hear that I will get married," and he is unable to hide his bright smile throughout the filming.
Yoo Min-sang debuted in 2005 as part of KBS's 20th open recruitment class of comedians. In 2018, on the JTBC program "Knowing Bros," he previously confessed, "I had a girlfriend I dated for three years eight years ago. At the time, I was in my second year as a comedian and was working hard. After a recording, I went to a nightclub, met her through booking, and we dated for three years."
