I Live Alone hits 6.4% peak as 'Dung-eo-riz' trio charms viewers

MBC's 'I Live Alone' maintained its position at the top of Friday variety programming, driven by the chemistry of the 'Dung-eo-riz' trio consisting of Gu Seong Hwan, Kim Shin-young, and Lee Sun-min.

In the episode aired on July 31, the show depicted Gu Seong Hwan inviting Kim Shin-young and Lee Sun-min to his home for a special time, alongside singer Park Ji-hyun visiting Shanghai, China, to revisit childhood memories.

According to Nielsen Korea on the 1st, the broadcast recorded a 5.5% viewership rating in the Seoul metropolitan area, ranking first among Friday variety programs. The 2054 viewership rating, which reflects the viewing patterns of the 2049 demographic, also recorded 3.3%, the highest figure among all programs aired on Friday.

The peak moment occurred when the 'Dung-eo-riz' finally gathered as a complete group.

As Kim Shin-young joined Gu Seong Hwan and Lee Sun-min, the viewership rating soared to a peak of 6.4%. In particular, the scene where Kim Shin-young prepared customized gifts by remembering the two's usual conversations provided both laughter and emotion.

Lee Sun-min also prepared a gift for Gu Seong Hwan, who invited her, showcasing the warm friendship between the three, and their natural chemistry received a positive response from viewers.

The broadcast also revealed the long-awaited first meeting of Gu Seong Hwan, Kim Shin-young, and Lee Sun-min.
