Lee Seung-jun, 29, Becomes Bus Driver After Leaving Hanyang University Engineering and Samsung Electronics

When Yoo Jae Suk remarked, "Semiconductors are booming these days," bus driver Lee Seung-jun (29) shared details about his former workplace, saying, "Five years ago, I didn't know it would be this booming. The place I worked at was the Galaxy division, which is responsible for semiconductor modules."

Regarding the reason he decided to resign, he revealed his circumstances and feelings at the time: "Watching supervisors who couldn't last long, I thought, 'I might also face recommended resignation or voluntary retirement someday.' During my 6 years at the company, my team leader and mentor changed more than three times. Finally, I had a conflict with the newly arrived staff."

After graduating from Hanyang University's Department of Computer Science and Engineering, he received a high salary at Samsung Electronics' semiconductor division, but he suddenly submitted his resignation and has been living a second life as a bus driver in Daegu since 2024.
