Moon Chun-sik confesses crush on Shin Dong-yup's wife

Comedian Moon Chun-sik candidly revealed that he had a crush on Sun Hye-yoon PD, the wife of Shin Dong-yup, during his rookie days.

Appearing on the YouTube variety show 'Zzanbro' released on the 27th, Moon drew laughter with an unexpected confession while reminiscing about his days of obscurity.

He surprised everyone by stating, "Actually, I had a crush on PD Sun Hye-yoon."

Recalling his honest feelings at the time, he added, "Back then, she was the prettiest among the MBC PDs."

Broadcaster Jung Sun-Hee, who also appeared on the show, agreed with Moon, adding, "That's true. She looked like actress Maggie Cheung."

Upon hearing this, Shin showed a calm reaction.

"There weren't many female PDs at MBC back then," he remarked, naturally recalling the period by asking, "Didn't we work on comedy programs together at that time?"

Moon explained, "That's right. PD Sun Hye-yoon was an assistant director, and I was just a rookie who had recently made my debut."

The broadcast also moved on to a discussion about Jung Sun-Hee's ideal type.

When Jung struggled to answer a question about her preferred male style, Moon provided an answer for her, saying, "This older sister likes manly men. She likes a style that can completely sweep her off her feet," which brought laughter to the set.

Jung showcased her characteristic witty banter, causing the scene to erupt in laughter by saying, "Men like that are hard to find. Most people actually take a step back instead. They say I have a piercing gaze."

After working at the MBC variety department, Sun Hye-yoon PD has continued her broadcasting career and is married to Shin Dong-yup, with whom she has two children. Moon's playful 'crush confession' provided amusement to viewers, paired with Shin's relaxed reaction.
