Nam Gyu-ri Reveals Truth Behind Rumor of Slapping Lee Beom-soo
Actress Nam Gyu-ri clarifies the viral rumor that she slapped Lee Beom-soo while possessed by a ghost during a horror film shoot.
On the 11th, actress and former SeeYa member Nam Gyu-ri appeared on the 'Truman Show' segment of the YouTube channel 'Imman Yeolmyeon' to reveal the truth behind a past incident where she allegedly slapped senior actor Lee Beom-soo.

When asked if there was a truth she wanted to disclose, Nam Gyu-ri thought for a moment and opened up, saying, "I think it's a funny story. When I was younger, articles were rarely published according to my own will."
She continued, "Usually, aren't articles released for marketing purposes? There was a time when I was truly flustered, which was when I was filming the horror movie 'Gosa.' After filming ended, I checked my phone and saw a huge number of missed calls. I called my mother first to see what was happening, and she started crying, asking, 'Are you okay?' I told her, 'Why? I'm fine. I'm just waiting to have lunch after filming.' Then she said, 'I saw an article saying you were possessed by a ghost and slapped Lee Beom-soo sunbaenim twice before collapsing.' It was a marketing article claiming that I was possessed by a ghost while filming a horror movie and hit a senior actor."
She added, "I asked an elder at the company, 'How should I talk about this?' and they replied, 'Just say you don't remember.'" She then expressed her hurt feelings, saying, "I couldn't even tell those around me it was just marketing. I was so young at the time, and I was quite hurt."
Lee Yong Jin asked the question, "Is it true that you once slapped Lee Beom-soo while being possessed during filming?" and Nam Gyu-ri replied, "No." The lie detector revealed her answer to be the truth. Having successfully cleared the air, Nam Gyu-ri recalled the past, noting, "This was a huge incident."
