On the 12th (local time), BLACKPINK member Lisa took the stage at the 2026 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA, captivating football fans worldwide with an intense performance.
Lisa joined Brazilian singer Anitta and Nigerian artist Rema to passionately sing 'Goals,' a track from the official World Cup album. Appearing in a white outfit, Lisa signaled the start of the celebratory performance. Her perfect live vocals and dazzling performance heated up the atmosphere on-site, showcasing the prestige of K-pop.
This marks the first time a member of a K-pop girl group has performed at a World Cup opening ceremony.
