Korean-American singer EJAE performed the World Cup theme 'DNA' at the Mexico City opening ceremony, with Lisa and BTS set to perform later.
EJAE, the Korean-American singer who performed the theme song for the Netflix animation 'K-Pop Demon Hunters', appeared on the opening ceremony stage for the '2026 FIFA World Cup'.

During the opening ceremony performance held at Mexico City Stadium on the 12th (Korean time), EJAE passionately sang the official World Cup theme song 'DNA' alongside Italian classical singer Andrea Bocelli.
In the latter half of the song, EJAE moved the Korean people by singing the Korean lyrics, 'Even if I fall again, I will rise once more.' On this same day, the South Korean national team secured a 2-1 victory in their first match against the Czech Republic.
