CHUNG HA rushed to emergency room hours before university festival performance

Singer CHUNG HA was rushed to the emergency room due to sudden health issues just hours before her scheduled university festival stage, leaving fans and organizers on high alert. Because she had been communicating with fans via SNS until the previous evening, the sudden news of the cancellation has caused even more concern.

According to CHUNG HA's agency, MORE VISION, and the 8th College of Tourism and Culture CO Student Council at Kyonggi University, CHUNG HA was transported to the emergency room in the early hours of the 18th after showing sudden symptoms of health deterioration and is currently receiving treatment.

As a result, she will be unable to participate in the Gwiryeongje stage scheduled to take place at the Kyonggi University Seoul campus today. The agency stated in an official position, “She has inevitably become unable to participate in the Gwiryeongje stage at the Kyonggi University Seoul campus scheduled for today,” adding, “We sincerely apologize for causing concern to the staff and students who were waiting for the artist's performance due to this sudden news.”

The agency did not disclose CHUNG HA's specific symptoms, the reason for the emergency room transfer, or her current health status. They expressed their intention to prioritize her recovery, stating, “We will do our best so that the artist can recover her health as quickly as possible.” As speculation surrounding unconfirmed health information could spread, it is difficult to determine her condition beyond what the agency has disclosed.

The news was particularly shocking to fans due to CHUNG HA's routine SNS activities that continued until the previous day. It is known that CHUNG HA communicated with fans through SNS stories until the evening of the 17th. As news of the emergency room transfer and performance cancellation arrived only a few hours later, fans expressed both shock and wishes for her speedy recovery.

The sudden change also created difficulties for the organizers at Kyonggi University.
