Choi Soo-jong's daughter stuns with "celebrity visuals" mirroring Ha Hee-ra

Actor Choi Soo-jong shared updates on his grown children, expressing deep affection for his family. Viewers expressed admiration as photos of his 26-year-old daughter, who is a spitting image of Ha Hee-ra, were revealed.

During the 'Famous Together' segment of KBS1's 'Morning Forum' aired on the 28th, Choi appeared as a guest to candidly share stories about his family and his philosophy on parenting.

The broadcast featured photos of the children of the Choi Soo-jong and Ha Hee-ra couple. Upon seeing the photos, announcer Uhm Ji-in could not hide her surprise, stating, "I thought it was Ha Hee-ra. How can she look so much like her mother?" Indeed, his daughter, Choi Yoon-seo, captured attention with her distinct features and elegant aura, while his son, Choi Min-seo, also boasted handsome looks resembling his parents.

In response, Choi smiled and said, "They say their eyes resemble me a lot," and when asked which parent the children resemble more, he offered a humble response: "People say they resemble their mother and father a little bit each, but I'm not sure.""

As much as their appearance drew attention, Choi's unique parenting method also stood out. He revealed that he still uses formal honorifics when speaking to his son and daughter.

When Uhm Ji-in asked, "Do you also call your daughter 'Ms. Choi Yoon-seo'?" Choi surprised the audience by answering, "I always use formal language with the children. I say, 'Ms. Choi Yoon-seo, have you eaten?' I have done so since they were babies.""

He explained that the practice began due to his demanding filming schedule. Having often been away from home for long periods while filming the epic historical drama 'Emperor Wang Gun,' he said, "When I came home after 4 or 5 days, the children would sometimes act shy toward me. At some point, I found myself using short, informal speech like 'Come here.' I decided to treat them with the same respect I did at first, so I started using formal language, and that has continued until now.""

This method of communication has since become a natural part of the family's lifestyle.

"The children do not find it awkward at all," Choi shared. "Outside, they hear informal speech from friends or teachers and have their names called casually, but when they come home, they seem to naturally feel that their parents respect them as individuals.""

He also shared anecdotes of how his children have inherited his and Ha's lifestyle habits.

Choi drew laughter when speaking about his son, noting, "When I asked if he takes good care of his girlfriend, he looked at me, smiled, and said, 'I do as much as you do, Dad.'"

Regarding his daughter, he added, "Since we live a frugal lifestyle, it seems they have been naturally influenced. Yoon-seo is quite thrifty, even looking for second-hand or vintage items to wear rather than new clothes.""

Choi Soo-jong and Ha Hee-ra, who married in 1993, are considered one of the most devoted couples in the entertainment industry. The couple has a son, Choi Min-seo, born in 1999, and a daughter, Choi Yoon-seo, born in 2000. Their respectful marriage and warm parenting style continue to resonate with the public.
