Jung Jun-won faces attitude controversy after 'Hangout with Yoo' appearance

Actor Jung Jun-won has found himself at the center of an unexpected "attitude controversy" following his appearance on the MBC variety show 'Hangout with Yoo.' Viewers are sharply divided on whether his behavior was the result of nervousness from an actor with almost no variety show experience, or a lack of enthusiasm toward the program.

The episode of 'Hangout with Yoo' aired on the 1st was themed around the 'Short-form Drama - Jjik-eo-yu' special.

On this day, Yoo Jae Suk, Haha, Heo Kyung Hwan, and Joo Woo-jae met Gong Hyo-jin and Kim Won-hee, candidates for the female lead in the second season of the short-form drama. Gong Hyo-jin brought along Jung Jun-won, who is currently working with her in the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Married Woman Killer.'

"This guy is not good at this kind of thing"

From the moment he appeared, Gong Hyo-jin stepped in to explain on behalf of Jung Jun-won. She pre-emptively informed the cast that Jung Jun-won's personality makes him unaccustomed to variety shows, saying, "Is he okay? He is completely unable to do this. It's his first time."
