'Daegunbuin' Actor Cho Seung-yeon Looks Back on Memories With On-Screen Daughter IU and Son-in-Law Byeon Woo-seok
Cho Seung-yeon shared behind-the-scenes memories from MBC's '21st Century Daegunbuin' with IU, Byeon Woo-seok and fellow cast members.
Actor Cho Seung-yeon looked back on memories with the fellow performers he worked alongside in MBC's Friday-Saturday drama '21st Century Daegunbuin.'

On June 9, Cho Seung-yeon posted photos from the filming set on his social media account, writing, "Words I could not say on a good day. You were truly beautiful, Hee-joo (IU)."
IU and Cho Seung-yeon met through '21st Century Daegunbuin' as characters in an out-of-wedlock father-daughter relationship. Because of that setup, their characters often bickered in the drama, but away from the cameras the two showed the warm rapport of senior and junior colleagues.

Cho Seung-yeon also released additional behind-the-scenes photos taken with Byeon Woo-seok, Yoo Su-bin, Lee Jae-won and Chae Seo-an.
'21st Century Daegunbuin' drew popularity during its broadcast run, holding the No. 1 ratings position among Friday-Saturday dramas. However, shortly after the series ended in May, it faced strong public criticism over controversy surrounding historical distortion. In response, lead actors IU and Byeon Woo-seok, along with the writer, director and production company, bowed their heads in apology.
