Ko Ji-yong still follows ex-wife Heo Yang-im on SNS two years after divorce

Following the news that former Sechs Kies member Ko Ji-yong has belatedly revealed his divorce, traces of his social media activity with ex-wife Heo Yang-im are drawing attention online.

However, it is difficult to draw definitive conclusions about the couple's relationship from these traces, as standards for following others or maintaining social media posts vary by individual.

On the 29th, Ko Ji-yong personally announced via SNS, "I divorced my wife two years ago truly."

Explaining the decision, he said, "It was a decision made to respect each other's paths and to fulfill our respective responsibilities as adults." Regarding their son, Seung-jae, he added, "He understands the new relationship between his mother and father and is currently doing well and staying stable."

Currently, Ko still follows Heo's account and has not deleted past photos taken with his family.

In contrast, Heo's account presents a different picture.

Heo's following list contains only the official account for the hospital she represents, and her recent posts focus primarily on her personal life and daily activities with her son. There are no recent mentions or photos involving Ko.

On the 30th, the day after his announcement, Ko shared an update on his life.

He shared a glimpse of his calm daily routine, posting a photo of a walk with a dog captioned, "Walking a person in recovery and an old dog. Let's stay healthy."

Ko debuted in 1997 as a member of Sechs Kies and earned widespread popularity with hits such as "Couple" and "style over substance." He later transitioned into business and gained significant affection through his appearances on KBS2's "The Return of Superman" alongside his son, Seung-jae.

Ko and Heo, both born in 1980, married in 2013 and welcomed Seung-jae the following year. Heo currently has custody of Seung-jae, and Ko expressed through his public statement that he will continue to fulfill his responsibilities as a father.
